Being a custom fabrication shop allows us the versatility to
make one off pieces or a production run of 50 or more.
Specialized lifting fixtures can be designed, engineered and built to suit your site or project.
Depending on your needs we can adjust to a variety of materials to suit the application. Most of our customers prefer to have their projects painted. Our fabrication shop can sandblast and paint to any spec your paint application requires. Color matching is also offered to ensure the rebuilt or modified project fits in with the existing plant color scheme.
Canadian Millwright Services custom fabrication shop is not only an asset to the Millwright division. Our shop fabricates quality components for "supply only" sales. The use of the word "custom" means costly to some, this is not the case here. Our prices of fabricated components are very competitive. Most manufacturers to have standard product lines. All the configurations and uses required by customers cannot be met with a few items in a product line. Modifying an item is usually less expensive than having a completely custom unit made to suit your needs.

This trailer was a standard car hauler. With the car on the trailer the driver could not open his door without it contacting the wheel well. The one on the driver side was modified to hinge up out of the way for loading and unloading. Next came the ramp's, these were fixed and hinged back up towards the vehicle, touching the rear of the vehicle
Rack's for the box of a pick-up can protect your vehicle from your cargo and allows the transporting of a wide variety of items securely. The rack's shown below allow for long items [ie: ladders, pipe, steel...] to be carried up and over the cab while keeping the whole item within the outside dimension's of the vehicle.
We can also use aluminium for any components you require. These are removable panels used to cover a section of a machine which has a 10 foot drop to a conveyor below. The operators and maintenance personel can now work safely in this area. Using aluminium allows the panels to be installed and removed by a 2 man crew efficiently and with little effort.

Protect your equipment, stock, electrical components or restrict access to areas by vehicles. Removable and portable. Bollards are fabricated from 1/4" wall material, fully welded cap and base. Base is made from 3/4" plate steel and come with four 13/16" dia. holes to allow anchoring by 3/4" dia. wedge anchors.Chemical anchoring systems available if required.
